ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A great-horned owlet originally found on the ground in need of critical care in the UNC Asheville woods is now back home, living a healthy life.
This happy ending could’ve turned out much worse had it not been for the efforts of visitors to the UNCA woods, a biology graduate, a local veterinarian and the Asheville Fire Department.
