BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Rising gas prices are putting new pressure on families in western North Carolina, where the average price in Buncombe County is approaching $4 a gallon.
According to GasBuddy’s fuel insights, gas prices in Buncombe County and the Asheville metro area are $3.92 as of Monday afternoon, April 6. That is 18 cents per gallon higher than last week’s average and 86 cents higher than one month ago.
