HENDERSONVILLE – Playing Ray Charles from a speaker on his bike, Thomas Kreycik, 74, had planned out a whole afternoon on the Ecusta Trail on a recent warm April day.
After finishing his 18-mile ride, he would go for a beer at Trailside Brewing, just down the way, and later fill up his saddle bags with groceries at Publix.
He’s looking forward to riding all the way to Brevard when that next section is completed, he said…
