ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Drivers are reacting to the news that starting next week, the on and off-ramps connecting Interstate 26 to Riverside Drive will close for good.
The permanent ramp closures will be the latest in the growing pains that drivers are facing as part of the Interstate 26 Connector project. The changes come as crews start work on the north section of that project.
On Thursday, April 16, the ramp between Riverside Drive and I-26 will close permanently. Then on Friday, April 17, the ramp between Hill Street and 26 will close forever, too…
