HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Henderson County leaders broke ground Monday on a major courthouse expansion and renovation project designed to expand the county’s justice system facilities as the population grows.
The Judicial Center Addition & Renovation Project includes a new four-story courthouse addition and renovations to the existing courthouse. The project also includes seven new courtrooms, enhanced security technology and an expansion of the detention center.
