Reconnect with your inner calm in BREATH & BODY, a gentle, all-levels class designed to restore balance from the inside out. We’ll begin by returning to Center, getting grounded, then layer in accessible breath work (pranayama) to regulate the nervous system, paired with mindful, low-impact movement suitable for every body. A guided, immersive practice where you’ll apply the tools in a flowing, self-paced sequence, leaving you deeply settled, present, and renewed. No experience needed—just your breath and a willingness to show up.

In this interactive and supportive class, you will learn to befriend your nervous system and map your personal response patterns. As you learn to recognize how your body and mind react to stress that lead to a shifting autonomic nervous system, you’ll discover how to better respond to daily challenges, recover more quickly, and build lasting resilience. Our body has an intuitive response system and learning to track cues of safety and threat helps return us to an internal sense of safety and calm. Adaptive responses to danger are normal, adaptive, and needed for survival. We can be pulled into a survival response by relationship conflict, unpredictable events, chronic pain, not having enough time to catch our breath and many other things. Our suffering comes from being pulled into a survival response without finding our way back to regulation or safety. Together we will learn about the autonomic nervous system, the organizing principles of the polyvagal theory, and begin to understand how to interrupt habitual responses to stress and return to an internal sense of safety. We will make time to put these principles into good practice and experience engaging with your voice, breath and body as practical and accessible tools to return to a state of flow, where connection and resting is not only possible but also makes sense…
