Man accused of breaking into Downtown Asheville hotel

ASHEVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Asheville Police Department reports arresting a man who broke into a hotel in downtown on Monday.

Joseph Fuller Anderson, 39, is facing charges of breaking and entering and second degree trespassing.

Officers said they responded to a hotel in the 120 block of Patton Avenue around 12:02 a.m. Hotel staff reported that a man broke into the hotel’s electrical room and was still on the property.

Anderson was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $200 secured bond, according to police…
