SALUDA, N.C. (WLOS) — Drivers saw something they usually don’t see while driving on Interstate 26 on the morning of April 27: Horses.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said it was called to Interstate 26 East just after 10 a.m. April 27 to the report of horses loose on the highway near the Peter Guice Bridge (formerly known as the Green River Bridge).
Within an hour, the horses were off the interstate and back with their owner, and there were no injuries to the horses or humans, the Highway Patrol said…
