TODAY: FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY—Heavy Rain and Storms Impact Morning Commute
A line of showers and storms is holding together as it pushes into our area this morning. It does weaken some as it moves east with the mountains getting the worst of the weather. However, still expect impacts to your morning commute with heavy downpours, lightning, and reduced visibility. Slow down on the roads. Give yourself extra time to get to work and school.
The rain clears the mountains around 10 AM but lingers in the Upstate through noon.
The afternoon looks dry with partly cloudy skies. Highs are in the low to mid 70s.
