(WLOS) — Many people across western North Carolina woke up to the sounds of thunder and steady rain.
Some of the higher rainfall totals included 0.9″ in Montreat, 0.88″ in Fletcher and 0.84″ in Mills River.
The Asheville Regional Airport received 0.72″ of rain, the most since January 25th, when 0.85″ fell.
The Greenville Spartanburg International Airport picked up 0.46″ of rain.
