MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man after he allegedly trapped a woman inside her own home.
Authorities said 24-year-old Ahmad Karreim Wahington had reportedly made threats against a woman’s life and would not let her leave the home. Washington was also reported to be carrying a gun at the time of the incident.
The victim was able to contact emergency services while inside the home, and was transported to a nearby hospital by first responders. She was able to alert the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office of the incident, which led to an arrest warrant…
