Mission Health settles lawsuit over unpaid wages for $1.5 million

Upwards of 18,000 current and former Mission Health employees are entitled to back wages following a settlement over its practice of rounding down time that employees worked, not paying overtime and deducting wages for lunch breaks that they didn’t take.

The HCA Healthcare-owned network agreed to pay $1,563,000 to settle the class action lawsuit. Once lawyers fees are deducted, the final settlement pool will amount to $917,579…
