According to WVLT, Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded Thursday morning to a report of a parental abduction on Old Mars Hill Highway and quickly issued a Be-On-The-Lookout alert. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee later located the mother and child, and BCSO District 2 Captain Chris Stockton praised the teamwork, noting the child “was located safe with no physical injuries.”
Suspect identified and charged
