Law enforcement officials in Clayton County are investigating the death of a person who was found unresponsive outside a residence in Jonesboro on Saturday morning. The circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear, and authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
Emergency Call Leads to Discovery
According to the Clayton County Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 9 a.m. on June 13 to a home located in the 70 block of Upper Riverdale Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive individual.
When officers arrived at the residence, they discovered a person lying in the driveway of the property. The individual was unresponsive when first responders reached the scene.
Personnel from the Clayton County Fire Department were also called to assist. After evaluating the individual, emergency crews pronounced the person dead at the scene.
