ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Firefighters worked to put out a house fire early Thursday in DeKalb County.
When crews arrived at the home in the 5200 block of Golf Valley Way in Stone Mountain, they encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear of the structure, DeKalb County Fire Rescue said.
The homeowner told fire crews that she had a candle burning, which may have started the blaze. There are no reported injuries…
