Man in critical condition, suspect hospitalized after shooting at DeKalb auto shop, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was critically injured in a shooting at a DeKalb County auto body shop Monday, and the suspect was hospitalized for a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head, according to police.

On Monday, officers with the Avondale Estates Police Department (AEPD) responded to a reported shooting at Harley Collision Centers, located at 126 Maple Street in Avondale Estates.

There, they found a 53-year-old man who was shot multiple times. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Police said he is conscious and speaking with investigators…
