Marietta woman accused of breaking man’s arm with a metal bar

Chala Allen, 48, of Marietta, is accused of intentionally swinging a metal bar at a man on Aug. 20 at 9:40 a.m. at the Cumberland Lodge apartment community, 835 S. Cobb Drive SE, Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

The man attempted to block the strike with his left forearm. Police observed significant swelling and discoloration to the limb. Metro Ambulance Unit 202 arrived on scene to evaluate the forearm. Police were informed by medical personnel that the bone was not where it was supposed to be and arrested Allen, according to the warrant.

The warrant lists her as Chala Allen, but jail records list her as Chala Toshiba Allen…
