Atlanta woman sentenced to life for hitting, killing woman with rental car

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An Atlanta woman convicted of killing another woman with a rental car was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison, prosecutors said.

Talisha Moore-Real, 35, pleaded guilty in August to malice murder, felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and first-degree cruelty to children in connection with the death of 53-year-old LaQuita Baker last September, according to the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office.
