5 students hospitalized after school bus hit at DeKalb County intersection

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A school bus was involved in a crash in DeKalb County on Friday morning, according to the local school district.

The accident happened at the intersection of Briarcliff Road and Fisher Trail when a passenger car ran a red light and hit the bus, the district said. Thirty Lakeside High School students were on board, and five of them were taken to the hospital.
