A metro Atlanta man with a lengthy criminal record will spend years in federal prison after authorities found a stolen gun during a traffic stop on Interstate 75.
La’Qyale Emmanuel Fortson, 35, of Riverdale, was sentenced Sept. 3 to 100 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia.
