Clayton County Lands $13.4 Million for Tara Boulevard, Transit and Safety Improvements
Clayton County is getting a major infrastructure boost, with $13.4 million in new grants aimed at improving transportation, pedestrian safety and public transit across the county.
The funding comes through the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and will support two projects that could have a noticeable impact on how residents move around Clayton County — from walking and biking along Tara Boulevard to strengthening the county’s transit operations.
