ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Atlanta police said they detained two men suspected of firing gunshots at Piedmont Park on Wednesday afternoon, and are searching for a third suspect.
Around 3:20 p.m., Atlanta police received reports of shots fired inside Piedmont Park, around 1073 Piedmont Ave. NE, near the pavilion, said Chief Darin Schierbaum.
Police detained a 29-year-old man and a 21-year-old man believed to have fired gunshots. One of the suspects was trying to change his clothes when an officer encountered him, Schierbaum said…
