Despite dropping the opening set, No. 1 Nebraska volleyball (7-0) fought through adversity to take down Georgia Tech (8-2) in four sets Saturday afternoon at the Bob Devaney Sports Center (24-26, 25-17, 25-18, 25-12).
It was the type of grind-it-out effort that Nebraska needed to show, and it came from a variety of contributors. Skyler Pierce totalled 10 kills, while Manaia Ogbeechie once again led the team with 12 kills of her own.
