DUNWOODY, Ga. — Several Dunwoody Glen residents showed up to the Dunwoody City Council’s Sept. 14 meeting to oppose the installation of four new pickleball courts at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta on Tilly Mill Road.
The community center wants to add a 10,500-square-foot indoor pickleball facility to its campus. Residents living on Dunwoody Glen, which branches off Tilly Mill Road, said the new courts will add to noise issues caused by the center’s existing 12 outdoor pickleball courts.
Community center officials said already-in-place acoustic fencing will be expanded to surround the new building, and a public-announcement system will not be used for regular play…
