MARIETTA — There is no shortage of food at this year’s North Georgia State Fair presented by Superior Plumbing at Jim Miller Park. Options range from classic fair staples to all-new inventions from fair vendors.
Each year, the fair holds a “Crazy Fair Food Contest,” wherein vendors are allowed to submit up to two new food items that must be new to their stand and the fair. The foods are judged by a panel of fair personnel and sponsors on two categories— most creative and best taste.
This year’s best taste winner was dessert truck Cocoa Berries for its strawberry chocolate Biscoff Supreme. Served in a cup, it included fresh strawberries dunked in a chocolate sauce of the customer’s choice with Biscoff chocolate cream and Biscoff crumbles…
