ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Decatur man was recently sentenced to life in prison in the conclusion of a 36-year-old cold case, the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office said.
The district attorney’s office said Moses Robinson, now 67, raped a 26-year-old woman in her Decatur apartment on Jan. 13, 1990. He kicked in the woman’s door around 3:45 a.m., pulled her from her bed to her living room and raped her, according to the district attorney’s office. The victim could not identify Robinson at the time.
The case’s sexual assault kit went untested until 2019, when the kit matched Robinson’s DNA. The DeKalb County Police Department then got in contact with the victim, who said she wanted to press charges…
