Michael Jordan has continued to show his support for the next generation and their dreams. This time, he and the Jordan Brand have helped fund a major program at Morehouse College.
According to a release from the university, Jordan and the Jordan Brand committed more than $1 million to fund scholarships and academic programming. This helped fund scholarships and programming for students focused on journalism and other sports-related fields.
This donation also helped lay the foundation for the creation of the Morehouse Multimedia Center, a state of the art facility that just celebrated its grand opening. This center is where the students will work on “creative productions, digital storytelling, sports broadcasting, podcasting, filmmaking, and projects developed with emerging media technologies.”…
