BARA, a Trinidadian restaurant specializing in bold island flavors, soft-launched its brick-and-mortar location in Atlanta on September 10, 2026.
Located at 999 Chattahoochee Avenue NW in Atlanta’s Westside (the same address previously associated with the Caribbean restaurant Negril), BARA marks a new permanent home for the concept after building a following through its food truck and appearances at Smorgasburg Atlanta.

The soft launch event ran from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring Trinidad & Tobago cuisine, community vibes, and music by DJ Zess DJ TNT. The restaurant’s tagline captures its spirit: “Bold Flavors. Island Vibes.”
