ATLANTA, Ga. – Flock Safety plans to reduce its workforce by approximately 270 employees, or 18%, according to Reuters, bringing the Atlanta-based surveillance technology company’s staffing under scrutiny as its camera network faces mounting opposition.
Employees are expected to leave at the end of October, Reuters reported in an Oct. 8 exclusive by Krystal Hu and Helen Coster. The news agency cited unnamed people with direct knowledge of the plans who requested anonymity because the company had not publicly announced them.
