ALPHARETTA, Ga. — The Alpharetta City Council is preparing to ask Fulton County to get on board with a tax allocation district to fund improvements in and around a North Point sports entertainment district.
Council members approved the creation of a tax district that is anchored by North Point Mall and includes 150 parcels and almost 650 acres. At the time of its approval, the district had a taxable digest of about $261 million.
