City leaders to unveil rapid transitional housing village in latest effort to address homelessness

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – On Friday, city leaders plan to unveil a rapid transitional housing village aimed at providing secure shelter to Atlanta’s unhoused. The Melody will house up to 40 tenants in studio-style units made up of donated shipping containers. Each unit will feature a bathroom, bed, and kitchenette, the city said.
