Police found Jamari Williams, who was considered to be ‘armed and dangerous,’ at a motel
Authorities said they caught a murder suspect in Georgia last week after he had been on the run since November 2022.
Jamari Kaliq Williams, 20, who was wanted for murder in northeast Georgia, was found at a McDonough motel, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, WSBTV reported .
Williams is accused in the murder of Kyan Bowie, 22, in October 2022.
Another suspect, Lawrence Stephens, was also wanted for the murder and was captured on Jan. 17, according to WSBTV.
Meanwhile, a third suspect, Diriuss Redd, was arrested and charged with Bowie’s murder in November 2022, according to WJBF .
During the time Williams was on the run, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said that he was believed to be staying in Orange Park, Florida, and warned that he was considered to be “armed and dangerous.”
