Three people are dead and a fourth was injured in a shooting at a Gwinnett County apartment complex early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
Gwinnett officers were called about a domestic disturbance around 1 a.m. at The Views apartments on Country Walk in unincorporated Snellville and found two men dead and two women with gunshot wounds, police said. Both women were rushed to a hospital, but one of them did not survive.
Two of the victims were identified as Corey Jones, 52, and his wife, Dana Farmer, 56, who lived in the home where the shooting took place. Police said the alleged shooter, 27-year-old Frank Wilburn Jr. of Loganville, also died.
Rosella Jones, 29, remains in the hospital, police said. “It is believed that Rosella Jones and Frank Wilburn Jr. were in a relationship. The couple was set to have a court hearing later today,” police said in a news release.
Two other people who lived in the apartment, the Joneses’ mother and a 2-month-old girl, were not injured.
“It’s very heartbreaking,” Anthony Abram, who lives at the complex with his wife, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
