Bijan Says Coaching Change Was ‘Definitely Needed’

Raheem Morris’ reputation as a players coach has already shone through in just his first few weeks in charge of the Atlanta Falcons , with players ready to run through walls for him before he’s even coached a game.

No one has been more supportive of the new Falcons coach than running back Bijan Robinson, who has already praised Morris on numerous occasions. The No. 8 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Robinson showed flashes of his incredible potential throughout his rookie season, racking up 1,463 yards from scrimmage and eight total touchdowns.

However, questionable usage by former coach Arthur Smith held Robinson, and the team itself, back from its full potential.

Now that Smith is out and Morris is in, Robinson finally revealed his true thoughts on the coaching change.

“For me, you know, I feel that we have a Super Bowl-caliber team,” Robinson said on Fox Sports’ Undisputed . “You know, we have all the pieces that we need and with coach Raheem coming in, all the coaching staff that he brought in, I feel that that was the change that was definitely needed for this team.
