Avelo Airlines is bringing more options for affordable travel to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. On May 2nd, the low-cost carrier will commence nonstop service between Atlanta and Tweed-New Haven Airport in Connecticut. Avelo will be the only airline operating this route, offering Atlanta residents a convenient new way to access areas. Flights will operate four days per week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays using Boeing 737 aircraft. As a new airline established in 2021, Avelo aims to provide customers with reliability, convenience, and ultra-low fares. The new route highlights Avelo’s expansion in serving leisure destinations east of the Mississippi. For Atlanta residents, it creates more choices for northeastern travel and Connecticut visitors, an affordable gateway to explore the culture, cuisine, and outdoors of Hotlanta.
