ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – One driver is dead and another was rushed to the hospital following a head-on collision overnight in northwest Atlanta. The crash happened around 2:15 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of Hamilton E. Holmes Drive in Atlanta’s Collier Heights neighborhood. Atlanta police say a 41-year-old woman driving a Subaru Impreza died at the scene. A 26-year-old man driving a Dodge Avenger was taken to the hospital by ambulance and is expected to survive.
