Map shows ‘Cigada-geddon’ spread across US as people frantically call 911 over bugs

Millions of Cicadas are expected to poke their heads above US soil in search of mates as the rare emergence of two huge broods will see the bugs sweeping across the US.

Cicadas are part of the stink bugs, bed bugs, and aphids family, but they are an unusual breed as they borrow underground for over a decade, and emerge above ground 13 to 17 years later as adult cicadas around May time in warm climates.
