Rashad Johnson de-commits from Georgia: 4-star flips from Dawgs to Texas A&M

Georgia’s 2025 class is back to 21 commitments as Bushnell (Fla.) South Sumter four-star safety Rashad Johnson flipped his commitment to Texas A&M on Saturday. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect originally committed to Georgia in July, choosing the Dawgs over Penn State, Texas A&M, Louisville, and 30 other offers. Assistant Travaris Robinson has two other secondary commitments in the 2025 cycle in Valdosta (Ga.) four-star Todd Robinson and Rockvale (Tenn.) four-star Jaylan Morgan. Johnson is ranked as the No. 24 safety and No. 33 overall recruit in Florida by 247Sports. Following the departure of Johnson, Georgia’s group of commitments still comes in at No. 4 in the 247Sports Team Class Rankings. Georgia has recently extended offers to several defensive backs, including Georgia Tech commit Rasean Dinkins on Friday.
