Burrito Concept Coming to CODA in Midtown

A burrito food truck from the East Coast is expanding to Atlanta.

Bro-Ritos is working on its first brick-and-mortar location outside of New Jersey, with the burrito concept coming to The Collective Food Hall at CODA in Midtown.

“The food hall is great for us, introducing ourselves to this new market,” owner Marcus Crawford told What Now Atlanta . “This is a way for us to do that. It puts us in a position to have more success than opening on a random street.”

Founded in 2016, Bro-Ritos has two food trucks in New Jersey, as well as two kiosks at the Prudential Center, a sports and entertainment arena in Newark.

Crawford has family in metro Atlanta, and as he visited the area, he saw what a great city it would be for a the business.

“Atlanta’s a foodie town,” he said. “There’s a lot of restaurants, different flavors, a very dense population, a ton of people in one setting, universities. In Midtown and downtown alone, you’ve got Georgia State and Georgia Tech. A bunch of conferences. There’s great support in terms of business.”
