The Crimson Tide blew a 28-0 lead and even trailed the Bulldogs 34-33 late in the fourth quarter at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

But one play after falling behind for the first time in the contest, Alabama’s Ryan Williams made an epic catch to score a go-ahead 75-yard touchdown. Georgia led for all of 13 seconds before relinquishing it immediately just a play later.

Fans on X all used the same four words to describe Saturday’s showdown between two SEC juggernauts: Game of the Year.

The Alabama-Georgia game had everything you could possibly ask for in an instant college football classic.

The contest featured two undefeated college football powerhouses. There was a huge breakout performance from Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe. Then there was a massive comeback led by Georgia QB Carson Beck, who overcame a disappointing first half to bounce back in a big way.
