Georgia breaks another early voting record for Saturday turnout

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Georgia’s enthusiastic voters are continuing to set records this election season. The state saw its biggest-ever Saturday turnout for a general election on Oct. 19, according to Gabriel Sterling, chief operating officer for the Georgia secretary of state. As of 1:30 p.m. – hours before the polls close – more than 102,000 Georgians had cast their ballots.
