Man arrested after deadly September shooting inside SW Atlanta grocery store

A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in September inside a southwest Atlanta corner store.

Kortez Ragland faces several charges, including felony murder and malice murder. He is accused of shooting and killing Toddrick Lamar, 20, on Sept. 23 at the Family Grocery Store. The shop is located at 875 Metropolitan Parkway.

An 18-year-old man was also shot. He was taken to a hospital and survived.

At the time, police said an argument appeared to have broken out between the men, which led to guns being drawn. At least five combined shots were fired, officials said, and the victims and suspect appeared to know each other…
