DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A fire damaged a DeKalb County home on Christmas Day, according to officials in the fire department.
Firefighters were on the scene at the Bouldercrest Road home around 1 p.m. According to DeKalb County Fire Battalion Chief Dion Bentley, the fire started in the backyard, and a trailer caught fire. It then spread to the back portion of the home, causing heavy damage.
No one was injured, but the family was left to pick up the pieces of what was left of their home. The Red Cross is helping eight people who were displaced by the blaze…
