ATLANTA — A man was helped down off a ledge Monday night in an incident that completely shut down the Downtown Connector in Downtown Atlanta in both directions for several hours.
Atlanta Police told 11Alive that officers were responding to a man who was standing near the edge of a platform overlooking the Downtown Connector. APD said that officers were working on trying to get the man down to safety.
