Jonathan D. Corley, 43, of Austell, is accused of throwing a metal figurine from across the room and striking a woman in the face on Dec. 28 at 10 p.m. at a residence at 1846 Gherry Drive in Austell, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
The impact caused a 2-3 inch gash about a quarter inch away from the victim’s eye. The gash was to the bone on the forehead/eyebrow area and required stitches. The victim tried to call 911, but Corley took her phone, according to the warrant.
Corley is charged with aggravated battery disfigure and 911 obstruction. He was arrested on Dec. 28 at 10 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
