Metro Atlanta won’t see any snow, but the North Georgia mountains might get a wintry mix as the weekend comes to a close.
A low pressure system arriving from the Rockies will approach us Sunday, but it will primarily move just north of Georgia. As the winter storm heads eastward, the National Weather Service said Saturday morning “some light wintry mix is possible for a brief period of time early Sunday morning,” though accumulation is not likely.
The storm will mostly leave us with a cold rain Sunday afternoon and overnight into Monday morning…
