UNION COUNTY, Ga. – Multiple Georgia school systems have announced delays due to the recent extreme drop in temperatures on Tuesday.
Wind chills dropped parts of metro Atlanta and north Georgia into the teens early Tuesday morning. The temperatures will remain below freezing with cold winds all day.
