Atlanta Police Arrest Four Suspects in Five Days for Burglary Crimes

Four individuals were apprehended within five days by the Atlanta Police Department in connection with three separate burglary incidents that occurred in December 2024.

Burglary #1: On December 18, 2024, at approximately 4:12 AM, officers responded to a residential burglary at 325 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW. The 911 caller reported witnessing two males breaking into an apartment before fleeing the scene. Officers located the burglary tools, including a chair and a metal bar, but the suspects had already fled. After a thorough search, a Georgia World Congress Center Police Officer found one of the suspects. Shortly after, the second suspect was located. The suspects were identified as Dante Long and Lazavia Howard.

Burglary #2: On December 22, 2024, at approximately 12:30 AM, officers responded to a business burglary at 500 Amsterdam Avenue NE. The 911 caller flagged down officers and reported the suspect was behind the building.
