As Georgians make preparations for a second winter storm , airlines have begun to respond as well.
Delta Airlines has published a waiver for those traveling to, from, and through several Georgia airports including those in Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah for tickets bought on or before 10:08 p.m. Jan. 20. For Atlanta travelers, tickets must be reissued on or before Friday, Jan. 24. Rebooked travel must also begin no later than Friday. For the other Georgia airports, the date for reissues and rebookings is Saturday, Jan. 25.
American Airlines has issued a travel alert for Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah. Those traveling to, through, and from these areas are eligible to change their trip for free.
