DeKalb County is rolling up its sleeves for another round of toxin wrangling with its spring household hazardous waste recycling event slated for March 15. According to a recent announcement by the DeKalb County Sanitation Division, the event will be offering a hazard-free haven from 8 a.m. to noon for locals looking to safely eject their domestic dangers.
Residents can kiss goodbye to a plethora of pesky products including aerosols, batteries, adhesives, all things flammable, as well as lawn care products, among others. A note of caution though, there’s a cap on good intentions with paint drop-offs being limited to 10 gallons per vehicle.
